How it all began

We met during my gap year at Golden West College, in Anatomy class. Tom sat right behind me in lab, and on the first day, he showed up 40 minutes late—typical Tom!
Fresh out of college, I was ready to start my journey towards becoming a pharmacist. Little did I know, the guy who couldn’t even show up on time would be the one I’d click with instantly.
Even though I’m naturally introverted & love staying home, Tom has a way of making me feel comfortable & like my truest self—while also dragging me into adventures I’d never dream of doing alone. Who knew showing up late to class could lead to a lifetime of showing up for each other?

I remember the first time seeing Jammie. Yes, I was late -but because I was late, the only chair left was behind Jammie. I knew it when I saw the back of her head that she was the one. This was confirmed when she turned around and gave me a disgusted look like “this guy is a douchebag, being late and all”. I pretended I didn't know anything about anatomy, that I needed help, and the bait worked! Pretty soon, we were study partners and then the fireworks exploded from there, and the rest was history.
